I offered him a drink, but he didn't have to because he was late and had to move on to his next appointment. It seemed rather blunt and hurried. He has been in the house for less than 5 minutes, so that I did not feel seriously taken as a paying customer. The property is then valued far too low. Of course this is subjective, but given his hurried method, it is debatable how he comes to his value judgment. The valuation was on a Tuesday and I could expect the report on Friday. Finally received the report the following Tuesday. In the meantime, I was not kept informed of the status, I had to call after it several times. Marius advertises on his website with "Fast switching!", But it is no use to schedule an appraisal in the short term, if the report then takes another week. Following my complaints, I sent him a message to express my dissatisfaction, but he could not agree with this in any way and therefore did not think I was entitled to any compensation. I considered making an official complaint, but that costs money and would ultimately amount to my word against his. Perhaps that is why he has been getting away with it for more than 40 years. Do yourself a favor and pay a few tens of extra for a decent appraiser!
