I can't really give objective review, because i really don't understand these dutch resorts. I mean those are nice new clean houses, stacked together like a small village, minimum privacy.. there is swimming pool, restaurants, playgrounds, ... just not my thing
Good place, but if you booked the Nr 2 it is like a Castle Tower! Be careful! There is no lift only 25 outsidse steps. :)
Too much youth on the park for a family resort. Also very soft matrasses with no option to change to something harder.
I weigh 80kg and sank ~35cm into the matras. Would not advise if you have a bad back.
Good: Great new houses, light and spacious, and clean. Lovely park, very friendly and helpful staff. Parking next to the house. Excellent bathroom.
Few minor gripes: a missing nespresso machine that was replaced by a faulty one and a rusty water cooker, but all solved quickly by friendly people.
Weird: missing smoke detectors (empty holes in the ceiling where they should have been); winter type sheets in mid-summer.
Bad: dreadful wifi. Practically unusable. Resetting the router as adviced doesn't solve anything; the whole setup is fundamentally flawed. Staff can't help. If you plan to work, listen to music, watch movies or even YouTube, or play online games (or even try and make online reservations), prepare to use your 4G (if available, because this is practical Belgium so your phone may switch providers at unexpected moments).
Would come again for all the good things, but would definitely recommend to get the WiFi sorted.
After a nice walk along Maastrichts scenery we had a great 3 course meal @ Dormio, the price quality ratio is exquisit and the resorts athmosphere is joyfull i recommend you to pay them a visit! Here is a preview of the steak tartaar✅
