Very tasty cakes. Good price quality. Very friendly staff. Worth repeating!
MultiVlaai is located in the middle part of the Ridderhof.Good-running tasty store with mostly friendly and helpful staff, where the village mentality is still present. The store looks neat and tidy. Location is on a busy covered area. Price quality ratio is also in the average segment.
Great delivery! Had indicated that you would like to receive the delivery as early as possible and received the cakes 9:15.
Absolutely great.
Multi-Vlaai in the Ridderkerk shopping center is a fairly spacious business. There is also a section where you can eat pies with or without coffee, tea, etc. Multivlaai is a well-known name in the Netherlands. There are many branches of Multivlaai in this country. Flans are also not unknown, that is something Limburgish, isn't it. In the old days when we didn't go on holiday that far and Limburg was far enough, we always took home a pie, a Weerter pie. In the west, flans were not so well known and could be obtained very sparingly. But in the end everyone got a taste for it and now every supermarket has a section of flans. But as many as Multi-Vlaai has, they do not get such an assortment. Multivlaai has also started in Limburg. It all started at Bakkerij Enpé in the Limburg village of Sevenum. In addition to delicious bread and pastries, the tastiest Limburg flans were also baked here. A typical regional treat: until the 1980s, flan was mainly eaten in this southern province. Until September 1986 the first Multi-Vlaai branch in Amsterdam opened its doors. One could go here for fruit pies, whipped cream pies, diamond pies, crumble pies and, later turned out to be a big favorite, the rice pies with whipped cream. Daily fresh from Limburg, because even then the pies were baked at night in Limburg and then transported to Amsterdam. The pies were sold whole, but also in halves and even in points. The concept turned out to be a golden one. The flan was subsequently discovered by the rest of the Netherlands, because after Amsterdam, stores of Multi-Vlaai followed in other places as well. The enterprising Bakery Enpé quickly recognized the success of Multi-Vlaai and transferred the stores to a franchise organization, guaranteeing the continuity and further growth of Multi-Vlaai. Bakery Enpé, which in addition to flans also produced high-level bread and pastries, soon grew out of its seams. Many large and renowned branches involved the bread of Bakkerij Enpé and the flan production rose as quickly as the number of branches of Multi-Vlaai. A few years ago, Bakkerij Enpé merged into the large and dynamic bakery organization Bakkersland to guarantee quality. The name of Bakkerij Enpé was changed to "Bakkersland Sevenum". In addition to flan, (whipped) cakes and small pastries were also introduced for the first time.
After a number of difficult years for Multi-Vlaai, entrepreneurs Kees Hermans and Maarten Steinkamp took over the company from Bakkersland at the end of 2012. This put an end to the situation where the supplier also owns a franchise company. A wise choice in a rapidly changing retail landscape. The new owners quickly decided that the formula needs much-needed innovation on several points without violating the basis of the concept. In recent years, new products have been (temporarily) added to the range, the webshop has been improved, extra focus has been placed on Multi-Vlaai's own delivery service and the so-called business market is being processed much more actively. Hermans and Steinkamp are also involved in various other formulas in food, retail and catering, such as Jamin, Crepe Affaire (UK), Damn Good Tostis and Ice Kitchen (UK). It is also impossible to name everything, take a look in the store or check the website beforehand.
So good!!!
