I saw how he did a job (repairing a flat roof of over 140 m2) with a son of mine and I am impressed with the result. 'Old-fashioned' craftsman. Takes his job and his customers seriously. Thinks along. In contrast to another 'roof expert' (who gave advice on the level both), John did see the need to replace part of the beams (which were therefore 'snot rot'). He explained what he was going to do and why. In short: 'Neit lang hell, John belle' (or better: just send an e-mail, he prefers that ;-)).

Excellent service, clear communication and good workmanship. Hidden flaws had broken a wooden beam in my garage roof. Various quotations were received, various from "We'll do that for X.XXX, but 2000 will go from that if you pay now.", To "That just needs to be impregnated." among other things also had contact with a company that started to count at € 25,000, - "and maybe even more if we come across unexpected things." Then John invited through a family contact. What a difference! Not a vulture who just wants to sell a few square meters, not a "quick, good, quick, quick" painter. He took his time, looked at everything, and made an honest offer. I was amazed at how bad the price was, especially after all the doom amounts I heard from big companies. It took a while before we could start, 2020 is a special year, but the two gentlemen started last Wednesday. All work has been completed today. A week later. 120 square meters of flat roof, four domes, scooping off the gravel, and the big one: replacing several rotten and sagging crossbeams and replacing the rotted floorboards that served as load-bearing surfaces with OSB plates. In total, between 5- and 10m² of material has been replaced. In addition, two rainwater drains have also been relocated. They were in the old piece of wood. In between the days of work, I was able to enjoy advice on matters that I could arrange myself. Reconnecting the rainwater pipe, and even advice about a piece of unrelated roof that had escaped in a storm. Small things that are not sold in an aggressive way. The other day I can't help but make a positive comment about the wonderful character of John himself. A great craftsman in a good mood. All in all, a great job has been done at a fair price and we look forward to seeing John again for the work at my father's garage.

Excellent advice, good and fast work and also time for a chat, not unimportant now. I had written to five companies in advance. John was the only one who bothered to respond. That too is part of being professional. I am satisfied.

We had a leak on our garage roof, the drain to the downspout was leaking. Contacted through a friend who had some positive experiences with John. John was soon able to come and have a look and explained everything well and clearly. After we had received a clear quote by email, the repair could be carried out quickly. And that looks good, craftsmanship! I will definitely engage John again for other roofing works.

Time to renew a bitumen flat roof above an outbuilding. Appointment made by email. A response a few days later, followed by an initial inspection. Quick look and good advice with a good relationship between costs and quality. The appointment is scheduled a week later. Punctually at the appointment together with a colleague. Coffee or a chat at the kitchen table in connection with Corona was refused. Work was carried out quickly and carefully, waste was taken along and really had nothing to worry about. Result was fine and was better than I expected. John indicated that he would update a spot the next day that had been causing some problems for years. That was also carried out punctually. In short, nothing but satisfaction, friendly men, good craftsmen, definitely recommended. Now just wait for rain :)
