Dental Clinics Groningen Vinkhuizen

I would not recommend this dentist. I’ve just come back from the practice in Groningen on the Friesestraatweg. I booked an appointment for 08:30 for my 6 year old son (whom is always very nervous about seeing the dentist). We arrive at the dentist at 08:18 so actually early for our appointment. We go to the reception and are advised to take a seat. A few minutes later another lady (with glasses) comes over and very abruptly says, your appointment was for 08:15, we tried to call you/your husband, partner whoever he is and he didn't pick up and I don't think we can see you anymore because otherwise we will be running late for the whole day and we would have to make up for that in our breaks, did you receive an email or text message to confirm the appointment? I hadn't received anything neither had my husband. I had booked an appointment for 8:30 and we had arrived early at 08:18 which in any case with the appointment they had for 08:15 would mean that we where 3 minutes late! I can understand if everyone is late then the whole day is held up however the lady I spoke to was very rude and abrupt and from the beginning clearly did not want to compromise or consider the factors surrounding this situation. She was back in a minute after speaking to the dentist so I think she had already made her mind up and didn’t even bother to explain the situation. We have been with this dental practice for years even before they where taken over by Dentals clinics and where functioning under the name of TIP Tandarts. I am very disappointed with this situation as we have been with this dental practice for years but if this is the way you will be treating your customers from now on then I prefer to go to a kids friendly, polite dental practice that have some level of compassion and customer care.

Great dentist though. Never had any problems, been coming for 10 years.

What a failure with Famed, sending a summons out without ever having contacted 1 x for an amount of 7 euros. Watch out for this party! Nice people good dentists !!

Clear about the choice for certain treatments and clear explanation of what has been done. In addition, follow-up appointments can be scheduled in time.

Very friendly and patient. Dealing with me personally. And they also take good care of my teeth :)
