Especially the very poor communication about the expected costs encountered me in the chest. Several times I asked for a budget in the treatment of a case. I only over time (and thus effort) got. The budget was given at 11-2. It turned out that that was FROM the afternoon of 11-2. Since that time there was also time invested was not mentioned. And that while I asked for a budget in advance. Then one thing and another I have summarized in his own words: Thank you for your message. I summarize it in my own words: Suppose we are successful with the letter, then I'm totally in 2 to 3 hours of effort, right? Suppose we have about 16 hours a startup procedure then comes with that. Then a vague answer came: Yes, that is an estimate of my work. The hours I count the letter are the hours I have lost from this moment. As for the procedure, we know of course how things develop. Because it is difficult to estimate in advance, we work with an hourly rate. That gives the least misunderstanding. In the first sentence, the lawyer confirms that my summary is correct and in the second he shows that it is not correct as I have summarized it. This is how someone works who has to sell minutes!
