The agency asked an illegal agency fee. When I wanted to claim it back, they just closed the company and opened a new one (they basically just changed the registry at the Chamber of Commerce (KvK)) in order to prevent this. I feel I have been betrayed.
The agency charges an abusive and illegal fee of more than 500 euros in order to rent a place and claims that this is legal according to the dutch law. However, if they do not search anything outside their catalogue this fee is illegal since they are already paid by the landlord. I would definetely not recomend this agency!

Asks illegal agency fees and often corporates with bad landlords
Charge very high, in my opinion illegal, agency fees of one whole month's rent. In addition, the description of the house that we viewed did not correspond to reality and the maintenance of the property / apartment left something to be desired. Respond quickly and adequately to emails. Eventually we found an apartment through another provider, where no (illegal) brokerage costs were passed on. We have been snapped at the very high mediation costs of Spot IN. Do not join the sea.
