Wonderful experience in a gorgeous park and unique ecosystem! Delicious food options at the guest center and the open access to bikes that come with the entrance fee was a very cool model. Wish more parks would do that! Will be back. 👍🏽

One of our favourite days out in The Netherlands, just park in one of the car parks, pay at the entrance then grab one of the famous white bikes, then lose yourself in a other worldly terrain. Our kids love this place, great playgrounds in there and a good restaurant to grab lunch or a coffee. A must do!

Very similar nature as in some areas in Brabant, almost no animals. Sand dunes are nice to see, but there are many places in the Netherlands which are the same and free. To find animals at viewing spots it's best to come at sunset, however that's also when the park closes. So no animals... Essentially you can only bike in it, nothing more to do. Good asphalted bike paths. Park entrance also includes a bike. Maybe worth a visit once, but I wouldn't come back.

Hoge Veluwe is a nice place to visit. The area is huge so prepare and plan well in advance. Personally I did not find the most important places in a clear and structured way. If you are lucky you might be able to see wildlife such as dears, so bring binoculars or a telephoto camera lens with you. I think the entrance tickets (11 euro per person) are way too expensive for what you actually get. In addition you have to get one extra ticket for your car. You actually need the car because all facilities such as toilets, food, shops, museums are in the center of the forest which is easily 10-15km from the entrance. The food was also a bit overpriced so if I go again I would bring something premade. In total for 3 adults, a child and a car we spend about 55 euro on tickets and 60 euro on food for 6-7 hour visit. If you take money out of the question the experience was nice and you can enjoy being close to nature, similar to the park next your home town.

Beautiful big forest with huge old trees. Even in winter a very nice place to visit. Their white bike system is free to use. It’s a great experience, roaming around and stopping whenever you feel like it. There are benches and picknick spots all around the park, to relax with a view. Especially nice on warmer days. Driving by car kind of feels like safari. Although we did not spot any animals. Nothing tops a nice long walk on some of the very long routes here. It’s much more quiet and slow paced and will give you the best opportunity to take in the peace and beauty of this place.
