Nice place, friendly staff
Today I came to bring antique pendant lamps to the thrift store. A piece was broken off but otherwise neat (and nothing is new in a cycle!). I thought it was for a good cause and made an effort to get it in the car. Nowadays people love to fix up old stuff, so that's nice too! The man from the thrift store could not speak to me properly, he said no goodbye. Only thing that came out of his mouth was: take it to the dump! I spoke to the man about this, I was very surprised. And especially because it is a good cause. This is not his goal anyway! I have been very misguided by this man today! (And I'm not talking about the volunteer, who was nice to me by the way).
Lots of broken items, high prices and too many flea markets / antiques. As a 20 to 40 year old you will not find nice things here. Grandma and grandpa do, if they like broken junk.
And what broken things am I talking about? think of paintings with grease stains, broken / incomplete Christmas stuff and generally things that I had brought straight to the dump.
No, never again
I always liked to go there, but I think it's a mess lately
So it is also less attractive to drop by every week
Don't forget to pat the cockatoo lady on the head.
