one the most beautiful library which I have seen with a workable atmosphere
My girlfriend and I like to often visit the "Bibliotheek Deventer" to chill, study and have fun. A few weeks ago we where heading to the -1 floor on the elevator and when we arrived de door closed on us, so we just pressed a button with the sign to open the door ... the door to the other side opened... We were stunned and excited about discovering this secret space and we started coming very often. We where there just a few hours ago making out on the floor surrounded by pizza boxes and a game that we were playing when a woman came in.... She started talking kinda rudely and obliged us to leave. She called a guy, who we guessed is the manager and he thought it was very funny, he asked us to explain to him how we got inside in the first place. So overall we give it an 7/10 it maybe would have been higher if that one lady would have been nicer...
Nice building, but a lot of noisy kids. Too loud to read or study. 😥
Great library. On Saturdays they open up the basement (to the left of the entrance) and they sell their old/rejected books there!
