Beautiful place with magical surroundings and exiting menu with also good choice of vegetarian food. I have been coming here for years and the quality of this has not change, but it’s a pity to say that the low quality of the friendliness of the staf (mostly the older gentlemen that runs the restaurant) also has not change and keeps being demeaning and unkind in many ways. I don’t know if this gentlemen has “inspired” the rest of the staff to act the same, if this is him having a bad day (year by now) or if this is what is “normal” here. But this is keeping me from staying in the hotel longer then needed the feeling of being unwelcome is present

The surroundings and decor of the hotel are really beautiful, and the food is great! Unfortunately hospitality leaves room for improvement, we did not feel very welcome during our stay. Staff is not very friendly and there is a lack of attention to detail: the passion for the food didn't reflect on the hotel in our opinion. On checkout the owner(?) made us feel so bad that we didn’t even want to stay for our planned lunch. Other things to note: the door to the bathroom in our room was removed - on asking about this they told us that they thought it was nice and that at least 3 other rooms also didn’t have doors and for them it is normal to not have a door between your toilet and your bed. The mattresses in the Dogon room should have been replaced years ago, very uncomfortable and old. The lack of hospitality and attention to detail really make the price too high for the value you get. Such a shame because with this beautiful place it would be so easy to get 5* reviews.

Had a lovely diner here, all vegetarian and really tasty. We got the tasting menu to share and everything was really nice. Only the dessert course was maybe a little less. Staff all really nice, funny and friendly

nice surroundings, a pleasure to stay, still not a pleasure to pay highly exaggerated prices like asking for three small glasses of wine almost twentyfive euros, and i took the last glass from the bar as the waiters were not paying attention to us...also the glasses were completely different series...so, high price, no service, nice environment

Great place, amazing atmosphere and that location!!! Just beautiful. Staff seemed a bit unexperienced though and that made the service chaotic. But the view and fireplaces made up for that! P.s. Wine tasted funny, maybe because it was organic?
