Domica Hilversum

Had to find a place for living quickly and managed to do that with Domica. Unfortunately, there were only two places at a moment and I had to choose from one bad place and another. Some thing in the place were actually okay, but living eventually became terrible: it was very close to a road and the building was very old, I could not bear living with neighbours above - there were just walking on the floor but I heard demonic steps. What is also not good is that they took 500 euro for the apartment and haven't returned it after I left the apartment. So they just took 500 euro for nothing, as they were representing the landlord by publishing his apartment on their website and etc and not me, I don't have to pay them anything. After we decided to leave the place, they started appointing people to whatever time and date they wanted, without asking us if it is suitable for us. I had to leave work earlier just to let unknown people to enter. I asked domica that it was not good in terms of our relationship, but they told us that they can simply enter using landlord's keys anyway and it was just an information call (we are letting you know that some unknown people are going to enter your apartment). When I told domica that this is unacceptable behavior, they told me that my deposit return may be reviewed if I don't comply. Having that said, the landlord pays them to enlist his apartment, you pay them whenever you want to get an apartment, and the tenant currently living in the apartment also pays them. They are paid by anyone, the don't hold any responsibility for anything, they may threaten you using deposit as a point of influence. I certainly do not think this is acceptable and I do not recommend using Domica for renting. Or probably, this dishonesty was just a price for a fast finding of a place.

Expats avoid!!! Do not use this company, unprofessional, poor communications, lack of response and will think of anything to not give you back your deposit. I am now taking legal advise against the company.

Richard at Domica Hilversum was incredibly helpful for us. Even though we weren't renting a high priced apartment, Richard treated us like we were as he showed us the space and told us about the apartment and area. He was knowledgable, amicable, and kind. We would definitely recommend Domica Hilversum to anyone else.

Domica Hiversum I have rented a house for 1 year. Deposit only partially returned. Richard Stam (Domica) manager and Ester de Jongh (landlord) have committed pure theft in my eyes. I will NEVER rent through Domica again, I will ever recommend Domica Hilversum. They are pure criminals. € 591 withheld from my deposit. But it turns out that the amount was never used for so-called damage repairs. Tenant, have been warned! This is more common at Domica Hilversum.

Thanks Domica Hilversum After many independent attempts to find a nice apartment we were fed up and went to Domica Hilversum. Indicated what we wanted and they immediately went looking for no charge. After 72 hours we could already look at various apartments. One of the apartments was so popular that we immediately knew this is our house. within 24 hours we were called that everything had been arranged. They were available even on Saturdays and Sundays. If we ever rent again, we will definitely go back to Domica !! Gentlemen of Domica thanks for the great service !!
