Absolutely amazing place, the owner is lovely and is very helpful. We stayed in the blue suite overlooking the canal, wow what views. The apartment was very clean and beautiful has all amenities needed for a great stay. The location is great really close to Ann Frank house and local trams, overall we would return again and again.

Just to be clear referring to this as a "Boutique Hotel" is a bit of a stretch. My partner and I booked the Souterian Suite and although the location is in fact amazing the accommodations were not so much. As stated in previous reviews, the apartment does not have AC. (This is pretty common in Europe.) Unfortunately, the apartment is below street level and the window you have to leave open gets zero breeze to the apartment. I also wouldn't recommend sleeping with the easily accessible window open. So a good nights rest was out of the question. The apartment was kind of clean and not conducive for anyone over 6 foot (my partner couldn't fit in the shower). I emailed the management for some sort of resolution and no one got back to us until 36 hours later. By that time we had already cut our losses and booked another hotel accommodation. Management's response was literally "We all have different experiences, unfortunately I can not do anything about that." If you are you looking for a hot no frills experience at a "Boutique Hotel" price, this is the spot for you.

Great location. Clean and neat. Very steep and narrow circular stairs, not for large luggage or those who have time walking. Good views from a corner building.

Stayed here about 8years ago and it's still 👍. Trade off the busy hotel with full services to a small house in a quiet location. I love it
