Very positive experience with Wieringa Advocaten. After calling back the same day, I had a very pleasant conversation with Bjorn Mulder. I only had a small question from a blog he wrote, but he took plenty of time to answer and hear the background to the question.

Experienced lawyers are successful in pursuing receivables

For more than 1 year I have had to deal with 3 different lawyers (including partner) from Wiering Advocaten (in the role of receiver) to purchase household effects. I ended up paying unnecessarily a lot of money for an estate and the process took far too long. You do not have to agree with each other in terms of content and I also understand the role of a curator, but Wieringa Advocaten excelled in unreasonableness and shamelessness: 1) Poor accessibility, blunt and especially arrogant communication; only accessible if it suits them (hiding), hardly prepared to give a telephone explanation, average response time to an e-mail 2 weeks. 2 Messy and unprofessional; file not in order, poor transfer and limited substantive knowledge. Not the willingness to listen to further explanation or to deepen further. Errors are not corrected or acknowledged. 3) Power and money driven; misuse position, pressurize and once the money is transferred no more telephone contact. Everything that you have not legally recorded is used against you. Hardly any cooperation and communication to achieve a good transfer / completion once the money has been received. Every simple, extra promotion is disproportionately charged. 4) Little empathy and integrity towards the entrepreneur who takes over household effects with a lot of risk and (a lot of) money. People are totally insensitive to the ethical side and context of the story. Reasonability and fairness are therefore hard to find here. Tip: if you have a choice, I would advise you not to do business with this office. The entire process cost me an unnecessary amount of time, frustration and money, while I was really in good faith. If you do want to work with this office, I advise you to bring your own lawyer. Danny Bree

Wieringa advocaten is only after money. For each email they send to you, they charge around 60 euros. You will never get a deposit that you paid in advance, they will make a whole series of services that they will not even perform, so that you do not have to pay this deposit back. Certainly not recommended. And a waste of money.
