My first time to this part of Amsterdam and I was glad I stumbled upon this place. The food was good and the man working there was polite. The reason I give 4 and not 5 stars, was because the man didn't speak English... but why would he? We were in Holland!

Good pleasant bakery So beware can be busy Especially by the weekend and later in the day

€ 14 for a standard cake ?! Be normal! Pie from plein 40-45 tastes much better than that from Javastraat.

I walked into this “bakery” at Plein 40-45 to buy 4 pecan buns. The employee (middle-aged man) puts 4 fish briwat in a bag of 12 euros. I thought it was a lot of money for 4 pecan buns after which the best man said aggressively that I should have asked what was in the bun first. First, it doesn't matter if you didn't understand the customer well. It is easy to change those sandwiches. Second, the way this amateur spoke to me in front of my young daughters is unprofessional and at the same time very cowardly. Apparently no norms and values. It was the first time that I walked into this “bakery” and also the last. They won't get my hard euros, bunch of amateurs.

The store is dirty, unsanitary. Products are also not of good quality. You won't see me there anymore. there are plenty of good bakeries in Amsterdam west!
