Monday July 6, 2:20 pm I was told that it was unwise to travel to the South of France with our own car because of an automatic gearbox that started to falter slightly. This while we were leaving the next day (Tuesday 7 July at 5:30 pm). Slightly panicked Care Rent called with the urgent question if there was a car available that I could rent the same afternoon for a 2 week holiday in the South of France. Long story short; within 1.5 hours a so-called VW Passat diesel automatic was ready and we left the next morning! You can imagine how happy we were. Had a great holiday! Thanks for the speed and top service!
