I do not even want to give '1 star's as the appalling experiencence and abuse my partner and I received yesterday from a female claiming to be manager. WOW!!!SHOCK AND HORROR.....I purchased (under very pushy 'manager' a radio for my partner for his birthday...as it was a bit above my price range she immediately called me back and offered a deal which I kindly declined as I'd seen similar for cheaper elsewhere in the Hague. But when I told her this she agreed to a price of €50 cash. I still could have got it cheaper had I gone to city but she was so pushy I caved in and purchased it. My partner was thrilled with it and put up a shelf just over his laptop especially for it as it could be connected. Everything was perfect with it until 4 days ago as while it was on it just stopped working(we thought maybe electric fault in area) but no. He looked at radio and it would not even turn on so yesterday on his day off we drove to shop. We had the radio totally intact including receipt, plastic bag and box in which it came. We very politely told her it just stopped working. Her response. "I dont believe that"...so she tried and of course it did not work. Faulty item without doubt. There was an identical one in display which we said we were happy to exchange faulty one for. Then...ANGER,ABUSE APPALLING TEMPER AND WORSE SPEWED FROM HER MOUTH AT US...(luckily we were all wearing masks)..She said there is only TWO WEEKS GUARENTEE on new electrical goods and it was purchased 4 months ago...2WEEKS??? We said that cant be. She said it is Dutch law. I'm Irish and my partner is Dutch and he knew of course it was incorrect as did I. She was acting like a crazed woman. I asked her to stop shouting at us...we were nice to her and we were customers returning a faulty item sold by her in the shop. She went crazy and said she was the manager and would not contact the owner when I asked to speak to them.. I asked for her name and owners name and she THREW a small post it pad and pen at me and told ME to write down OUR names???...I then took out my phone and started to record her and she closed her mouth except to say get out of the shop. I told her I would report her and as we were leaving other people were coming in and she said 3 times.."see people are laughing at you"???...We now have a €50 radio that does not work, received beyond appalling abuse and I have to admit the whole experience left me very shaken. My partner is very angry and he is a very mild mannered man. PLEASE PLEASE NEVER go near this shop if you value your money and your dignity. By the way she was not a dutch woman. Iv never received anything but kindness from any Dutch store iv been to... She was Chinese with an uncontrollable temper...I am going to consumer rights about this and may go to police to report her appalling abuse. Avoid this awful woman. Do not go to this shop. I have a bit of video and foto of her...

Do not go to this store. My daughter went on an errand to buy a USB cable and mistakenly went here instead of HEMA. She had the exact amount for all her purchases but realized at HEMA (where is everything is much less expensive) her mistake. Please not that she is 10 years old. The woman at the cashier, refused to refund her purchase although my daughter brought the receipt and the unopened USB cable 5 minutes after purchasing it. The cashier proceded to then try to make a "deal" with my daughter, offering her some money back but not the full purchase amount. Then she tried to make other interesting deals offering her other less expensive things she didnt need. The store employee who also made the receipt disappear knowing that this was the proof of the price and purchase time/date. THIS STORE ROBBED AN UNSUSPECTING, HONEST 10 YEAR OLD GIRL. DId the cashier pocket the difference and buy herself an ice cream? Does Europol have a petty larceny division? I tried to call the store but their number is not surprisingly: out of service.

Partially extremely overpriced, for example a pc keyboard 90€ instead of 10-20€. A single no-name block-battery 7.50€!

Madam is a real sales shark, the way you come across them mainly in tourist Asia: pushy, stressed and totally unable to listen.

Certainly not going the employee is not customer friendly. She just started accusing us of having stolen a ball [not recommended]
