Bakkerij van der Waal

Today I picked up a To Good To Go at Van Der Waal Bakery in Ridderkerk and it was very disappointing. Only 2 loaves, 1 small pistolet and mini currant buns. Not even a nice pastry or something. Was definitely not 12 euros worth as promised so I feel ripped off. The lady who gave me the bread was also customer unfriendly and I felt very unwelcome as a result.

Great service, neat company, accidentally walked from the port to the factory. There is no shop there, but I was also helped with a few sandwiches! 👍🏻 Back on the boat, really super fresh and delicious breakfast with the tastiest sandwiches of the past four weeks that we sailed through the Netherlands.

First class quality bread.
