Very good teacher, who manages to strike a balance between strict understanding (especially for people who often arrive late or forget something).

Our daughter has been taking piano lessons from Sjaak for over two years now, and this suits her and us very much.
Sjaak is a teacher who teaches very positively and calmly. He knows how to stimulate our daughter and always sees the positive in the child. Because of this it is never a punishment to go to piano lessons, but above all it remains fun.
Sjaak also organizes prelude afternoons where all students play a part on the piano for their fellow students and parents. As a result, after participating in the prelude afternoon it is suddenly not so exciting to be in the spotlight! He also did a CD recording with all the students this year! Very nice to record a song in a “home studio”!
Because Sjaak teaches at home, the atmosphere is always nice and informal. Especially thanks to Sjaak's wife Annick, who is always friendly and hospitable!
In short, very satisfied and we hope that our daughter will continue to follow the lessons with Sjaak for many more years!
Our daughter has been taking lessons from Sjaak for a number of years. It is a very passionate, spontaneous and fun teacher. He also super coached the children of the school band Apple with a jazz number to ultimately a place in the final in the BZT music show.
Sjaak is a very nice piano teacher. He listens to your wishes and handles the material at the right pace. In addition, there are also entertainment afternoons every so often, these are great fun because you can perform in front of a real audience!
