On Saturday morning on spec to the Broodparadijs to score bread. They turned out not to be open, but still had some homemade bread in the freezer that we were allowed to take with us. Very nice people who have started their own bakery with a lot of love. Recommended!

Since Marlies started her Bread Paradise, I have been eating bread again. This is bread as bread is meant to be. Nourishing and easy to digest. Produced with the time it takes for dough to rise properly, fairly and fully. The sourdough spelled is our favorite, but everything else that Marlies bakes, from breads to cakes to other pastry treats, is also not to be sneezed at.
