The person i called on the phone was extremely rude . Not willing to provide me with simple information. Super negative and arrogant without any reason .

As an international, the person who picked up the phone was super rude, unprofessional and did not want to provide any advice or assistance and told me to call my home country's bank. Obviously, that was my first thought but considered giving the Netherlands branch a call as I thought they would be able to provide some advice. Instead I was treated like an idiot, something which was not on my to do list for the day. Isn't the point of these branches to assist people and not deter them? If I could give zero stars I would.

I hate Citi Bank! It's easy to get an account, but impossible to leave the bank. I have a bank account in the UK which I want to cancel for years already. Every time I call the bank, I first have to answer security questions for 20 minutes. After going through all the questions, they are never able to help me. Now they even blocked my account, because I answered one security question wrong! Now they are asking me to send a copy of my passport to an email address they only want to provide by phone. There security is unreasonably high, while they don't care about my security! They can keep my money as long as they close the account! I never ever want to have any contact with this organization again!
