Decided to give it a try last week. Read the reviews and was of course alert. But came out pleasantly surprised. Maybe because it’a more quiet that normal. Staff was generally friendly and supportive. They give a good overview of known damages of the car (check that of course!). Only downside was their counter for car release. I could see that the employee had to click a thousand places just to get a simple form. So I think that’s why people also complained about lines. I had no cue, but it still took about 30 minutes to get my car.

Horrible! I had a reservation and upon arrival presented my credit card and drivers license. I was told I need to provide an additional form of identification. I was prepared with a copy of my passport. I was told that I needed to present the original passport as an official ID. The problem was my passport was in the embassy office for visa renewal. The manager was called and they insisted that only the original passport was acceptable. So, I walked over to Europcar and rented a car from them, no problem at all, they didn't even ask for another form of identification.

*Alert / Fact if you are not Dutch, be aware of this. They provide 'Dutch' prints and charge you unknown fee approximately 400 euro. They will explain it's 'security deposit purpose' verbally and will charge you when u for real. We are preparing to take a legal action for the fraud and will share all of you once again. before it's settled down, u better consider this company in schiphol. anyone have same situation please contact me anyhow. *the photo is proof that we were there.

We flew from NZ via Hong Kong to Amsterdam so were pretty tired on arrival. We walked straight up to the counter and had a very warm reception from a gentleman called Roy. He was nothing short of helpful explaining everything to us in great detail including giving us a near new car as I inquired about needing a navigator. Was thrilled at the quick turn around and soon we were away in an immaculately presented vehicle. Return process was swift and all went smoothly.
