Underground, the official N.A.P. water level point temporarily closed in the Stopera due to corona, Amsterdam, but above ground directly past the entrance, in addition to the transparent monitoring well, there is a beautiful wall panel over the N.A.P. to see.

This is an absolute must for everyone who is interested in ebb and flow and above all hydraulic engineering: here it is shown how high (or how low!) The "Amsterdam normal level" is, from which all water levels in the Netherlands are measured become. This is important for the entire water management and regulation in the country. And that is also the basis of the European measuring system. Unfortunately, the exhibition in the town house is not very attractive and is mostly in the basement. But if you descend the few steps, the important and interesting information is shown, and you learn a lot!
