WAVE Events - CityGames

Saturday 15th of September we had the pleasure to do a citygame in Brussels with a group of people from Supertape. What a nice experience! Well organized by our host Toon, good instructions and a lot to discover during our game. We surely will use Wave events again for a next city visit. Thanks Toon!

With almost 70 colleagues and partners I did the CityGame in Ghent. It was a great activity and we enjoyed it immensely!

For a study trip with 60 students we were looking for a fun activity in the city of Antwerp. We wanted to show our group of young people in the age category 19+ in combination with visiting funky Patisserie and Chocolaterie stores. Because a city walk with 60 students is not really an option, we opted for a collaboration with "Wave City Games". This company knows how to turn a city walk into a challenging game where education and fun turned out to be a golden combination. By turning the city walk into a game, the students were motivated to view and explore all locations and sights. The great thing about the game is that extra locations and assignments can be added, so that the City game gets a customized educational interpretation. During the city walk there are photo assignments, learning questions, mutual game games and virtual traps. During the game, students have insight into the score course, so that motivation increases to a large happening. During the game you can keep an overview of where the groups are located via a map. And if there is a problem, the groups are helped via a helpline. Wave City games is highly recommended and can be used for many purposes due to its flexibility. We played a City Discovery Game in London with 43 students (VMBO 3). The start went a bit awkward for some groups (they were not really able to burn ahead), but as the game progressed, the slow starters also became increasingly fanatic. In the end everyone was very enthusiastic about the game, the assignments and the fact that you will be in very surprising places. I really recommend it!

Last Thursday we had a super fun department outing with a group of around 50 employees. How nice it was !!! We played the City games in Amersfoort. The game made everyone extremely enthusiastic and competitive. Awesome!! Toon & Carina, so cheerful and enthusiastic from the first telephone call to the end of the game. It is also super nice that the game could be personalized. The combination of these is super! Thanks again and we look back to a fantastic outing! Dear Brigitta.
