Villa Igang Beach Resort

Gorgeous place for a getaway. The rooms are well-maintained. Lots of attractions to catch- it might be best to stay for at least a couple days to actually get to see everything. There is plenty of marine life around the resort, so make sure to stay alert, wear a rash guard, and pack your water shoes and snorkels. It's a massive property where you can go camping and swimming, or simply enjoy the scenic nature treks. There's also food available at the resort but it might be best to pack some with you, along with a few litres of water. They have transport to take you from the resort to the main part of the town. Saw a banded blue sea snake while we were there though, so stay alert while you're in the waters. My favourite place was the Coral Cove. Some parts of the resort was not maintained (pool, some huts and some footbridges) but, even then, we still could not complete the tour during our overnight stay. They also offer island hopping activities.

The resort looks abandoned. Wifi at canteen. Small beaches swimmable. Cliff diving only available when lifeguard is on duty. Best sunset overlooking cliff. Recreational pool is literally abandoned. Looks creepy with all the animal statues and empty castle. Entrance fee is P50, you can also rent a bike for P100/4hrs. Also accessible, mangrove sanctuary.
