Anapog Marine Sanctuary is a municipal marine sanctuary located in Barangay Anapog, San Remigio, Cebu. The sanctuary stretches from the beach area to the deeper reef area some 800-1000 meters from the shore and some 100-200 meters wide. Fishing activity is regulated within the sanctuary as well as ecotourism activities. Local community manages and protects the sanctuary from threats such as illegal fishing. The sanctuary in its entirety is a no-take zone and only research activities with prior permits are allowed. Around the sanctuary however, snorkeling and diving may be allowed.
