Veterans Memorial Park

A blissful place for remembrance of what happened during the 1940s and how our grandfathers resisted the Japanese invaders to occupy the heart of Pangasinan. May the souls of the people sacrificed their lives be eternally included in God's Kingdom.

The place is so relaxing,peaceful and captivating.

The old models of military tanks, jets, and cannons as a park display looks great.

Myself and 5 others drive up to see the veterans park memorial a few days ago. The park was nice but we left because for some reason there was loud disco music playing around the entire area. We asked the maintenance people there if there was some holiday or party and he said no. We could barely concentrate to read and pay our respects so we continues to the beach and came back again 2 days later. And again...loud music all over the place. How is anyone supposed to pay respects to the Filipinos and America forces when there is 80s disco music playing through the entire complex. I was waiting for go go dancers or circus animals to come thinking it was a joke. They never came and it wasn't a joke. unbelievable and shocking. A place for quietly remembering the sacrifices has turned into a mockery of the ones who died for our freedoms. It's no different than any other place blaring videoke music.
