A good place to be in the holy week... You can also see the island here from the top... I will be coming back here with my mtb next time

Ive been to Bantayan twice now, but finding the way to this cross is such a pain hahaha gmaps lead us to a quarry site but when we got there, there's like no sign of path lol. We have to go and and look for it and it was a confusing path hahaha but when youre up there, it's actually a chapel you can go for peaceful prayer.

The place is good for prayer vigil, and Holy week season since it has stations of the cross. It is solemn, and a good place to reflect. Perfect time to visit the Big cross is 6:00 am to 3:00pm. The place isn't fully developed yet, as the road is quite bumpy and bushy. It might take you 15 to 20 minutes to be able to reach the top. The adventure is all worth it.

Unfinished project unfortunately. No way to get there except climbing the mountain and then you see some nice statues... but no road going there no signs to follow... and a blocked entrance to go on top.

Make sure to go there early morning or afternoon because it's too hot 🔥, this place is great!
