USAFFE-NL Military Shrine and Park

A small park located along the road of Luna. A marker was built to commemorate the landing of USAFFE-NL (United States Armed Forces in the Philippines North Luzon) in Darigayos Beach. The marker is flanked on both sides by two large black slabs, carved on it are the names of those who died during the war. The places of origin are also written on each of the respective names. Also inscribed at the back of the monument is a short story about the landing of the USS SS GAR. Good place to drop-by before or going to the beach, or just a minute of stop-over from a tiring ride.

Memorial monuments are there lest we forget. Good to pay respect.
