Thanks God! I'm done with my interview. I will just wait for the result.I'm thankful to the security guard who helped me make sure my sister and daughter were safe while I'm inside the embassy having my interview. God bless your heart sir!

For US Citizens traveling in the Philippines - Annex has air-conditioned waiting area and many service stations for passport issues and other citizen services. Typically very little wait. (If not US Citizen, waiting lines are very long and start outside; wish we could do more for those folks but those lines never stop growing...until the IDIOT government of the Philippines gets a clue...) For Death of a US Citizen while abroad (in the Philippines), I want to express my thanks & gratitude to Embassy officials & personnel here who were professional, courteous, empathetic, and expedient in providing the certificate of death for my loved one. I am exceptionally impressed by this facility and the quality of services provided by my US Government & US State Department. (It took almost 2 days to get the local official death certificate in Metro Manila, but just 35 minutes from the moment I stepped onto the grounds to when I had the official US certificate in my hands...be smart & have all required documents on hand or you'll have to come back like anything else!)

Accompanied my American bf today to file a notary document to be sent to the US. Our experience was overall pleasant. They have very tight security when it comes to gadgets like laptops, cameras, phones and usbs including food. We arrived 945am for his 10am appointment. It took us over an hour to finish his transaction. Tip: take note of what number of counter you’re gonna go coz there are no specific signs only numbers. Order is very efficient. We even helped an old man and a couple who needed witnesses to sign documents. We signed the papers as witnesses as well. You need to bring a book coz if you’re gonna wait there doing nothing, you’ll get bored. From BGC it was quite a struggle to go there even though we’re on a motorcycle. We left 8am and arrived 9am. I have seen a long line - good thing my BF has appointment already so we were admitted without waiting in line. No photos coz it is prohibited to take photos. Place is cool so it is a relief from walking outside.
