I have not tried trekking in this area but Im fascinated by its vast historical value and its importance to our Filipino heritage. It contains the death memorial of heroine Gabriela Carino Silang and has a monument and historical marker in her honor. Remnants of brick bridge/road guards can still be seen.

This was a historical battleground site, however remnants/artifacts are only a rare few. The rough terrain mostly serves as environmental protection area which is also great for hikers. Trail difficulty 6/10. Suggest to contact locals as guides if planning to hike. Climb early. Trek is about an hour.
