Airport may have improved on its cleanliness. However, confiscation of bottled water prior check-in defeats its purpose when there are tenants allowed to sell inside nearby waiting area priced as high as P60/bottle for 500 ml when its retail price is originally at P10 only. This is plain business malpractice.

Francisco Bangoy International Airport, also known and still commonly referred to as Davao International Airport, is the main airport serving Davao City and Davao Region in the Philippines. It is a very nice airport small manageable. True check-in area is rather small but with enough time before departure I could just wander to the counter and check-in straight away. After check in you head upstairs to the departure area and pass through security. You then find yourself in a the domestic departure area where there is plenty of seating and TV screens.
