Embassy of France in Manila

My family member (Filipino) applied for a visa and did all the required documents. the family member is a doctor, and owns a house and was traveling with me and some other family remembers. (I am a US citizen and the other travelers are us citizens / greencard holders ) we gave a detailed Itinerary and hotel bookings for every place we would be. a couple of days after they received the paperwork they asked for more proof that she was traveling with me. My passport (which they already had several copies of) and my drivers license. the email said that if they didn't receive the items within 24 hours that they would cancel the visa application. we sent them within a few hours of receiving the email. never heard back. called about 10 days later and was told to wait. called 25 days later and they said to wait. they then called us back later that same day asking for the same information again. we sent it within minutes. the emails bounced several times over the course of an hour (it was the correct address) and we kept sending until finally the emails stopped bouncing. IF THEY HADN'T RECEIVED IT WHY DID THEY WAIT UNTIL WE CALLED THEM TO DO ANYTHING WITH THE PASSPORT? the passport was sitting in their possession for 25 days and they didn't do anything with it the whole time. by there own rules it should have been canceled. so somebody messed up. That goes against what all paperwork had said and what we were told over the phone. now that we have the passport back, it came back denied with no logical explanation. If a doctor that own a house and is traveling with US citizens can't get a visa for France then who can? now we don't have time to apply for a different visa and are stuck not doing the trip less then 1 month out. THANKS FRENCH EMBASSY! SOMEBODY REALLY DROPPED THE BALL HERE. 10 years ago i had a similar situation only worse., I will not be spending money in France. they apparently don't want tourism.

Waiting more than five days,had no answer or reply from any person at the consulate.No one cares or ignore the sender.Very bad service!

Fast. Organized

The organization of the consulate is shameful. First they no longer accept the French inside while in 2010 it was ok and my wife who asked for another visa long stay is a long walk in the tourist visa procedure, but after complaint it apologized and gave him the long stay visa. Very disappointed, it gets worse with time :(
