Magandang Umaga, Hi and hello, I am so happy that this airport is almost getting to a 5 star. I wanted to say that I was raised here in this island. If you have any questions regarding to this building or any tourist sites. Feel free to ask sometimes I could be busy like a man as you think. But, thanks for all for the support of Bacolod-Silay International Airport stay safe. I remebered the time I traveled from the oldest airport in Bacolod right down town. What I experienced it was; frightened, scary and shocking. Another thing, it was not pleaseant at all. The old airport of Bacolod was designed to be as simple as it is. Back then ventilation in the old airport, was just an celling fan as you may see from down stairs. Back in our old days we never had a proper ventilation all we had was a Celling fan and to keep people comfortable we used plastic chairs as our boarding gates. Also, no jetways in the old airport. We only used stairs as we board the plane as many years came by. I was so suprised that the old airport in Bacolod was closed since 2008 when the opening of the New Bacolod-Silay International Airport was opened. This airport was brought to you that the Japanese cooperation and avaition industries of this airport. I am so happy and glad to read about your reviews about this airport. I hope they will expand and be the best airport in the Western Visayas. Although, we are not rich or poor we still can try our best and do the best we can for our island. Continue to support our airport together we run and make the airport the better place and comfortable for you. It has been over 8 years I haven't gone back to this island. I know my people in San Carlos City misses me so much. I had to say to them always stay protected. Don't miss me focus toward the future and what happens will come back. That was the speech I told it to them. But, anyway please guys support my airport and so on so fourth the airport will continue to grow.
