One of the two old houses which is a rare memento of the completely forgotten German settlement element from the end of the 18th century. In 1793, a settlement called the Dutch Radogoski (later called Żabieniec) was established in part of the Radogoszcz estate belonging to Mateusz Strzałkowski. Right in front of the house, on the forested side of the road, there is a German Evangelical cemetery, probably at the end of the 18th century (or rather its remains). Evangelical inhabitants of the village of Olędry Radogoskie were buried in the cemetery until the end of World War II. To this day, a slight hill on which the necropolis was situated is visible, and until the post-war years there was still a brick chapel, of which no trace was left. After the war, it became the fate of the inhabitants of this - probably largely Polonized - village to be driven out of the land they had farmed for generations. The same happened to the Evangelical inhabitants of the villages where the Teofilów estate stands today: Zabnitz (Żabieniec), Grabenitz (Grabieniec) and the settlement of Odzierady at ul. Rąbieńskiej. Each of the above-mentioned settlements had its own cemetery, most of which have survived at ul. Cobkowa, in front of the preserved house of German settlers.

Thank you, Anthony, for adding this place. When autumn leaves the nature from the leaves, you can see the remains of the village. I come from the Beskid ... a place where there are many such places ... so when I found out about this lost village I found its traces without difficulty. This way "nowhere" ... places strangely flat / traces of pens / ... earth and nature take what we took from them ... but the scars heal for a long time;)

It is one of the few surviving houses of German settlers. The remains of the village of Olędrów Radogoski. Opposite the house is the Evangelical cemetery.
