Bless Jesus Dear, What Your Heart Love. May the treasures of this valuable road for centuries have. Thankful for saving life. This inscription is placed under the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus embedded in the wall of the tenement at Ks H.Bednorza 23 in Piekary Śląskie. This was done in 1947 by Mr. Teofil Czypionka, the owner of this tenement house. Mr. Teofil was a Silesian Insurgent. After the outbreak of World War II, he was arrested by the hiter and sent to the death camp in Gusen. He survived there Totbadeaktion - an action to exterminate prisoners by lethal bathing in ice water combined with melting. In this way, about two thousand prisoners died. After a happy return to his family home, he made a pilgrimage on his lap to his parish church. Then he founded the statue of Jesus who still recalls these difficult times and people ...
