The lofty medieval body of the church is the only surviving building of the former Gothic Franciscan monastery complex founded by the Pomeranian prince Barnim I the Good around 1300. As it was shown during the dendrochronological tests of the corpus' roof truss performed in 2008, the beams were cut in the winter of 1368/69. The original equipment has not survived, but inside we can find polychromes from the 15th century. a unique, secular image of a boy with a griffin - the coat of arms of Szczecin. I recommend attention :)
