The Old Oil Mill - once Stettiner Oelwerke AG founded in 1850, has been abandoned for nearly 20 years. Since 2009, the destroyed building was managed by the Ballet Foundation, which wanted to establish a ballet school and a cultural center here. Unfortunately, the project was abandoned in 2015, as the investment of over PLN 50 million exceeded the foundation's capabilities. During World War II, the building did not suffer very much, the largest production hall survived, where rapeseed oil was still produced after the liberation of Szczecin. Later, the plant was transformed into a brush factory, and then into a non-ferrous metal foundry. The facility is protected, so it is impossible to enter it.
