A beautiful building combining several styles, which was created for over 100 years.
Inspirational architectural bodovels. Very nice exterior facade of the church. The interior is quite modest in terms of painting and sculpture, but still beautiful. Around the church, there are several other elements of worship, such as chapels and memorial plaques. It is located on the route to the castle so you can stop !!!
It is the sanctuary of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Świecie, very damaged during the Second World War, rebuilt by priest Jerzy Kosz, for which the bishop of Pelplin appointed priest Kosz to the canon. Society greatly helped in the reconstruction of the Old Parish Church. It is a monument that must be visited. I recommend.
A church with a very rich history. It is a pity that the interior is completely contemporary. There are high walls around the church. It turns out that this is where the city center used to be. In the 18th century, after the devastating floods, the Prussian authorities passed a decree transferring the town to the slope. Thus, the church itself remained, which is a memorial to the original location of the old town.
The church, called "Old Fara", after being destroyed by the Red Army during the liberation in 1945, was not rebuilt until 1988. In the 1960s, scenes for the TV series "Czterej pancerni i pies", episode 16 "Daleki patrol", were shot here. The old city walls are located next to the church.
