The figure hidden behind bushes, first erected in 1938, demolished in 1939. Renovated in 1989 and has been standing ever since. It is completely invisible from the street and is a treat for people coming to the Żur Elektrownia area.

Very interesting place. You have to devote some effort to climb from the side of the barrier on the slope on which this figure stands, which has a very interesting and turbulent history. For experts in topography - you can easily get here from the narrow, asphalt road between Spław and Grzybek. Below the figure is a huge dam erecting the water of the Zalew Żurski. A treat for lovers of industrial climates and technical monuments. About a kilometer away (along the derivative channel) there is a hydroelectric power station that is worth visiting (check the details and conditions of the visit). A few hundred meters down from the dam the charming Leśniczówka Wydry, located in a nice place, next to the building a large, monumental Cis.

Very interesting object, difficult to see from among the branches of the trees. The statue of the Virgin Mary "Star of the Sea" was built on a high slope next to the dam on the Wda River. The water dam was built to accumulate water for the Żur Hydroelectric Power Plant. The statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary was destroyed by the German occupier and rebuilt (reconstructed) during the Third Polish Republic. This is an example of connecting the Polish Baltic Sea (marine environment) with the Hydroelectric Power Plant. In the past, Sea Day ceremonies were held at the dam.
