St. Nicholas has been the seat of the Redemptorists since 1934, when on November 2 they received for their church the image of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, blessed by Pope Leo XVIII in 1903. In the 17th century, there was a wooden church transformed into a brick church in 1631. Later, an 8-side tower with arrowslits was added, as the church was located next to the walls of the Zamość fortress. Today it represents two styles: Renaissance and Baroque. The superior of the rector's church is Father Marek Mirus, MA in theology. Interesting fact: since June 9, 1954, novena in honor of the MBNP are celebrated here every Wednesday.

The church Nicholas was built as a temple of Orthodox worship of Zamosc Greeks. In the eighteenth century, as a result of wars, the merchants returned to Greece, and the church became the property of the Zamoyski Estate. In 1706, Anna née Gieliński gave the church to the Basilian Uniates. They developed missionary activities for the faithful of both rites. After the abolition of the Chełmno diocese in 1875, the then tsarist government gave the church to the local Orthodox administration. The church remained in their hands until 1915, when the local pop army left the city and the church was closed due to the approaching Austrian troops. In 1918, the church became a school temple dedicated to Saint. Stanisław Kostka. In 1934, the Lublin ordinary bishop Fulman gave the church to the Congregation of the Holy Redeemer (Redemptorists), which he invited to his diocese. The Redemptorists built their monastery next to the church, and then were deprived of their church and monastery by the German authorities. The church and monastery were recovered by Redemptorists in 1944. The church represents two styles: Renaissance and Baroque. Originally, a gate under the tower led to the church, with a modest baroque portal, forged in stone. The current vestibule is a later extension. The interior of the temple is single-nave crowned with a ribbed Renaissance dome from the so-called lantern. The church tower was a defensive tower. Place of sale: Monastery gate, ul. Kościuszki 1, until 15:00 In the sacristy before and after the liturgy.

A small, stylish church that is worth seeing from the inside. It is located close to the center of the old town and there is public parking nearby.
