A great place, quite numerous and priceless monuments in the collection. The reliquary of the Thorn of the Crown of Jesus, seen so closely, is an unusual experience. Zamoyski's watch, a reliquary on the hem of the Virgin Mary's robe - feel the breath of the ages. One star is subtracted from too loose approach to opening hours. It was opened late, only after firmly tugging on the handle. Such places should invite you to visit with open doors, and not closed gates during opening hours.

A pearl of architecture. Beautiful. 👍

I recommend a mandatory place in Zamosc. During the tour.

This two-storey building standing next to the Zamość cathedral is a remarkable architectural monument. Its history dates back to the beginnings of the city, because it was built at the end of the sixteenth century, and its architect was Bernardo Morando, the main builder of Zamość. It was the seat of the Zamojski deans, infułatów cathedral and hence the name of the monument. The infuser was rebuilt in 1620, commissioned by the first infuarant, priest. Nicholas Kiślicki and after the fire, in the second half of the same century. The most interesting element of the building is the beautiful, arcaded - columned Baroque entrance portal. The portal with the Prus coat of arms centrally located in the cartouche is richly decorated. At present, it houses the Cathedral's Sacred Museum, which was opened in 1987 by the efforts of the last ordynat Jan Zamoyski.

We were not able to see the museum collections. The guide (keyman) has a very loose approach to opening hours 2.5 hours after the theoretical opening still closed;)
