In the village of Żabianka, there is the oldest monument in the commune - the Parish Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The original church was built in 1570 by Łukasz Lędzki. Five years later, the parish from Drążgów was transferred to Żabianka in connection with the development of the activities of the Polish Brothers. The present church dates back to 1745 and was founded by the starost of Stężycki Feliks Benkowski. It was built of wood on a stone foundation (which I will show later in the photo). It is a single-nave temple with a transposition, built on a Latin cross plan. It has two porches from the west and south, and a sacristy on the northern side, behind the transept. 1882 carried out a general renovation of the temple, during which the aforementioned porches were probably added. Another renovation work was carried out in 1975-1976. In the crypt under the church are buried, among others: representatives of the Rostworowski and Bentkowski families. The church is built on a small hill from the south falling into a large number of fish ponds, from the north side the route Ułęż - Sarny the church runs close to the temple is in very good tech condition, so far not requiring any work outside
