The synagogue, this time in Szczebrzeszyn. It was built at ul. Sądowa 3 in the place of the previous old one, when in 1659 the last owner of the town, Jan Zamoyski, allowed its construction. The synagogue building has a rectangular plan, made of brick and stone, in the Renaissance style. It was burnt down by the Nazis during the last war - rebuilt in 1957-1963. Inside the main hall, a stone arum has been preserved on which the Hebrew text of the psalm "I put the Lord before me always" is carved. Since 1965, it has been the seat of the Municipal Cultural Center, also of the Tourist Information. After another renovation in 2010, the building was painted pink.

Nice place. It is quiet during the closing hours and there is a parking lot next to the synagogue.

The synagogue building was erected in the 17th century and now houses the Cultural Center. You can see that it has recently been renovated. The area is well-kept. Parking nearby.

One of the few synagogues that has survived to this day.

The synagogue from the 17th century. Destroyed by the Cossacks (17th century) and later by the Germans during World War II, it was rebuilt. The last renovation was in 2009-2010.
