The former gunpowder magazine of the fortress now houses a small museum of the Brest fortress, with models of a few forts, and a small collection of military equipment and models. Entry is free, and the staff are nice and willing to show you around. In addition, there is a communal park with an amphitheater nearby, which makes it a nice addition to a family picnic.
