The church was built in 1942, on the initiative of the mayor Alexander Arciuch. Wooden and concrete structure (hollow bricks made by the villagers were used to build the walls), erected on a rectangular plan (11 × 8 m), with a vestibule added in 1958. In 1978 the church was plastered and painted, and in 1981 the roof was covered with galvanized sheet metal (instead of tiles). A metal fence around the temple (made in 1974).
