Very nice museum. It has both historical and ethnographic parts. Both are very interesting. There is also a small but beautiful late 17 century chapel in addition.

It was a really informative visit. I was pleasantly surprised at the wide choice of presented subjects - archeology, folk art, modern paintings, history of the city, a chapel and an open air museum of a few traditional local homesteads. The presented amount of information is just right. The museum staff is really friendly and welcoming. Recommended!

I liked the exhibits but it was a little out of the way. The exhibit on clothing through the years was good. The display case is set up so you can get a 360 view . Don't forget to look at the village cottage off the courtyard. Public parking lot is across the street.

Small but nice museum. Beautiful building and friendly people.

As for the size of the city, not to mention Łowicz, a museum worthy of large cities with rich collections. This fact should not be surprising because this region of our country is culturally rich. The color and culture of the Łowicz village is clearly visible in the exhibitions and in the open-air museum at the back of the museum. Many other collections will interest visitors to this museum located in the city center. On the sidelines, Łowicz is the seat of the bishopric, so there are sacred buildings and very close, and not far from Łowicz are Nieborów and Arkadia.
