Długoszyn is a large village near Sulęcin on the Lubusz Land. The first written document from the year 1286 about it is about giving it to the Templars. Like many other properties in this area after the dissolution of the Knights Templar in the fourteenth century, it became the property of the Knights. The present parish church of Our Lady of the Rosary was erected in the years 1733 - 36 and had a wooden tower at the time. In 1895, the church was renovated, and twelve years later, the wooden tower was replaced with a new one made of stone. The church suffered a lot during the last war and was not used for several years after the deportation action. It was only after the renovation in 1959 that it was handed over to the newly resident Catholic community after the war. Initially, it was a branch of the parish of Saint. Henry in Sulęcin, but since 1978 he has been the main temple in the parish in Długszyńska.
