The Town Hall - situated in the central point of the old part of the city - owes its present shape to numerous changes over the centuries. The main frameworks of the walls and cellar vaults from the time of its creation have been preserved to this day. The destruction caused by the great fire in 1633 was an opportunity to expand the building. During the next reconstruction in the second half of the nineteenth century, the gable roof was removed and the third floor was added in its place. The shape of the building has survived to the present day.

Town Hall in Sulechów - the neo-Gothic town hall located at the Town Hall Square in Sulechów. The seat of the city's mayor, city council and city hall in Sulechów The town hall in Sulechów was built at the beginning of the 14th century, the exact date of its construction is unknown. It was built on a rectangular plan. Initially it was wooden and small. It burned during a city fire in 1557. A stone building in the Renaissance style was built on this place. The new town hall was larger than before, it had two floors. A small tower was erected from the south, in which the congressional council meetings were convened and the alarm was issued. From the west, a larger octagonal, slender tower was built, on which there was a small cloister, on which musicians played during urban celebrations. In the basement of the town hall, a prison and a brewery were built, next to which an inn was opened. The rooms on the first floor of the building were intended for the city council and the mayor. The initiator of the town hall reconstruction was the then mayor of the city - Jacobus Staw (Latin: Iacobus Staius)]. In 1587, the first private pharmacy "Pod Lwem" was launched on the ground floor of the town hall [4]. For the second time, the town hall burned down in 1633, during the Thirty Years' War. Due to lack of money, the building remained half-ruined for a long time. Lack of funds also meant that during the renovation only part of the repaired roof was covered with tiles, while the rest was covered with shingles. In 1670 a pendulum clock was mounted on a large town hall tower, which was built by Gorzów giser. In addition, a signal bell was hung on the top. A semi-circular annex was added from the southern side of the town hall.
