Chapel of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Gilowice. The origins of the chapel date back to 1913, when Jakub Wygrabek, a resident of Gilowice, funded and built this sacral building on his property, close to his home and as a founder he incurred all the construction and equipment costs. After building a shrine with a tower, the founder bought a bell. On the back of the chapel there is an inscription: Erbaut 1913 Jakob Wygrabek. In the chapel, the founder has placed the image of Our Lady of Czestochowa. Next to the chapel, he planted 4 limes, which on one hand were to provide a green and flourishing setting, on the other they were supposed to protect against lightning. In 1980, a metal structure was attached to the brick chapel, covered with foil.
